Growing up I was a bit of a comic book geek.
There was a couple of shops I frequented in Oshawa, one being Gnu Books in the north end, and Unicorn Comics which used to be on the main drag across the street from the mall.
I must preface the Oshawa reference with the fact that I lived in Whitby. Don’t want you to get the wrong impression.
Anyhow, these were my favourite comic book heroes and villains. And yes I do like the villains, even though they tend to lose when it comes to comics. Most will be Marvel, but when Image Comics came out when I was a kid, well, Spawn and Grifter became the cool characters.
