Halloween is upon us.
Thanks to exposure to horror films at a young age by my dad, I have grown to like the flicks. And to dislike clowns thanks to that scene in Poltergeist.
I’ve always had a penchant for the paranormal. Reading whatever books on hauntings, cryptozoology and on prophecy I could get my teenaged hands on.
Now, at age 33, I’m just content with watching the paranormal come to life on the big screen. University can take the credit for that. So, below are my favourite horror films. Some more dramatic, serious, like The Others, and others are more campy, like Critters.
